Welcome the FIT Program
The Sault Ste. Marie Gymnastics Club is excited to partner with the Algoma District School Board for the 2023/2024 school year with the FIT (Foccussed Individualized Training) academy. It is an academy for individual sports that include: gymnastics, swimmings, dance and cross-country skiing.
This unique opportunity will be accessible for any grade 7/8 student enrolled at the White Pines Intermediate Program. The FIT academy will provide engaging learning experiences with highly skilled, specific sport trained staff, fitness equipment and training facilities
FIT academy students will be prepared to give back to the community as leaders and coaches as the program will enhance their own leadership, mentoring, teaching and coaching skills. They will also have opportunities to showcase their skills during performance and demonstration-based events.
There will be an information night about the FIT program on Sunday, March 26th 2023 at 6:00 PM. SSMGC Management and an ADSB representative will be present to answer any questions families may have about this program. The Meeting will be held on the floor of the Gym Club. Mark your calendars for this information night if this is something that might interest you and your child.
